Netball Training Camp 2009
8th -10th June

June Holidays! Yipee! Time to slack and grow fat? You wish...The netballers were put through a series of specialised netball clinics by renowned coaches, National Open and age-group players, a physiotherapist, two A-badge umpires and most importantly, top opponents for the final day carnival.

The result:
The netballers emerged from the training camp...better, stronger, fitter, confident and more skilful.

Don't wish to elaborate on the specifics but it was indeed heartening to see the end result after a gruelling 3-day camp. The players were now better tactically as well as mentally stronger to cope with the demands of the Nationals in term 3. All I have to say to to the other teams in the nationals...BRING IT ON!!!

2) vs Fengshan Seniors 17-1
3) vs CHIJ OLQP Seniors 14-1
4) vs SAC Sec 1 14-5
5) vs Cedar Girls Sec Twos 3-7

Achieved 2nd in the carnival behind the undefeated Cedar Girls Sec Twos! Good Job Ultimate!

Team Supreme Results:
1) vs Ultimate 3-9
2) vs Fengshan Seniors 7-6
3) vs CHIJ OLQP Seniors 4-6
4) vs Cedar Girls Sec Twos 1-10
5) vs SAC Sec 1 3-2

Achieved a credible 4th Placing.

Junior Category

Team Extreme Results:
1) vs Beyond 8-0
2) vs CHIJ OLQP Juniors 5-1
3) vs Zheng Hua Sec 5-4key
4) vs Fengshan Juniors 6-5
5) vs Cedar Sec Ones 1-3

Achieved 2nd in the carnival losing to eventual champion Cedar Girls Sec Ones. Most importantly, the juniors managed to defeat East Zone Champion Fengshan Pri Juniors. It was the most satisfying result of the day. Hopefully, the juniors will rise to greater heights after this key moment.

Team Beyond Results:

2) vs Fengshan Juniors 0-5
3) vs CHIJ OLQP Juniors 1-1
4) vs Cedar Sec ones 0-11
5) vs Zhenghua Sec 0-6

Team Beyond should be glad with their performance as this is essentially the B-team of the Juniors and even consisted of a P4 Shooter.
