We had the opportunity to interview their coach, Mr Edwin Njoo, with regards to the team' s chances on winning the east zone championship this year. He mentioned that this year's junior competition is very competitive with very good teams. They are St Hilda's, Fengshan Pri and Pasir Ris Pri. However, he did commented that TKP stand a very good chance too due to the fact that the players have a 'winning' mentality drilled into them from their illustrous seniors who have graced the junior competition and won it since 2005. 'Experience in winning championships is very important during tight games' was his explanation.

The girls arriving at Mary Mackillop School and were welcomed by their designated buddies arranged by the active Parent Support Group.
Jeraldine posing with her buddy for a photo during the reception party.
Even media crew like me got to enjoy the nice home-made sandwiches and cakes! Yummy!
Classroom experience! Really enjoyed the time in the classroom. We get to learn a song and dance, get involved in a group discussion and also were given a tour of the school by our buddies! Noticed the school likes to use SMARTBOARDS for their lessons. Very interactive and fun!
We showed them our 'hungry' cheer before eating our wonderful subway sandwiches for lunch.
The whole school gathering at the netball court to watch the match between TKP and Mary Mackillop School. Pressure!
It was biz as usual for TEAM A as they strolled to victory against their opponents.
Team B did not play well and succumb to Mary Mackillop's better passing and movement.
Our Buddies@ Mary Mackillop School. We really missed them and hope we will be able to keep in touch with them. SO that's it! Our 5 wonderful days in Perth...Oh and before I forget, our top 3 netballers of this trip (voted by fellow netballers). They are....Seak Im, Fatin and Isabel! Congrats!
